Flinders Engages GBM Engineering To Refurbish And Commission The Woxna Graphite Process Plant In Sweden

Flinders Resources Limited (“Flinders”) (TSXV: FDR). Mr. Martin McFarlane, President & CEO, is pleased to announce that GBM Mineral Engineering Consultants Limited (“GBM”) has been deployed at Flinders’ 100% owned Woxna flake graphite project in central Sweden to assist with refurbishing and commissioning of the process plant.

Mr McFarlane states: “GBM are a highly experienced European engineering consulting firm and Flinders is pleased to have engaged them to support the Flinders team at the Woxna graphite project to refurbish and subsequently commission full graphite processing operations at Woxna.”

“Flinders goal is to begin graphite mining and processing from Woxna in the second half of 2013. In line with this aim, GBM have already dispatched an engineering team to site.”

GBM, formed in 1994, is a UK based independent firm of consulting engineers specialising in assisting clients with the development, design and construction of new mining projects and the refurbishment of existing ore processing plants and associated infrastructure. The Company’s expertise is in the design, engineering, project management, procurement and construction of such plants. GBM personnel are currently providing technical services to the mining industry in Europe, Africa, Greenland, Russia and the CIS, Central Asia, the Americas and the Middle East.

The main activities that GBM will undertake and support at the Woxna graphite project include finalising the graphite process flow sheet, assessment and maintenance of existing plant and equipment, new equipment specification for purchase and detailed engineering as required. To support these tasks GBM have provided a team with mechanical and electrical engineering, metallurgy as well as maintenance skills. Other skills will be contracted in as required.
